Creations
Since 1998 I have spent a good portion of my time working as a web programmer, developing anything from brochure style sites to complex back-end programming. People liked my work, and I made a living at it. While working for others pays the bills, my real excitement comes from figuring out a particularly interesting bit of code, or building web applications that will benefit me and others that I know. They don't pay the bills, but they are enjoyable.
Everyone needs a hobby, and so here are a few of mine.
- The Book of Common Prayer - a database driven site that I built providing the Daily Office and Lectionary readings in your own Bible Translation preference.
- Pachyderm Content Management System - a very simple content management system that allows for site theming with the click of a button; intended to speed up the process of getting client sites up and running, and reduce the time spent on simple content maintenance. This site runs on Pachyderm.
- CodeCloud - an online code editor that allows me to connect to my various projects via FTP and make necessary code changes when I don't have my computer with me.
- The Quotable - a database of quotes I keep for inspiration and speaking preparation.
- My Library - a database of my books; whether I've given them away, or someone has checked them out.
